Google Hangouts Can Now Use Peer-to-Peer Connections for Voice Calls

Google Hangouts is Offering Users the Ability to Connect Peer-to-Peer for Voice Calls

Multiple people using Google Hangouts are now receiving a notice in regards to improving voice call quality via peer-to-peer connections. So, if Google decides that a direct connection to the person you are talking to will give you better voice quality than routing both of you through Google’s own servers, it will do this for people who are receiving this message.
