Following the footsteps of Apple, Google has finally unveiled a new feature that developers have been seeking for years now: the ability to give out promo codes for their apps. Developers can now offer promo codes through the Google Play Developer Console by following some simple steps to download or print a CSV file with a list of codes. At this time, developers can only create 500 promo codes per quarter.
