The Android team has just pushed a new update to Android Studio 2.0 to the Canary Channel, bringing with it some new features and fixes for bugs present in Preview 4. Among the most notable changes include the ability to “cold swap”, allowing developers to build and deploy incremental changes before restarting an app. Finally, there’s an update to Lint, which has been refactored to better detect and remove unused resources in your project.
