In a move that leaves us perplexed, the US versions of the Sony Xperia Z5 and the Xperia Z5 Compact will not be shipping with a fingerprint sensor. This stripping away of essential features puts a question mark on the asking price of the devices as the Z5 will cost a good $600 and the Z5C will cost $500.
