Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro face significant price cuts in India

When they hit the shelves back in July, 2016, the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro carried price tags of Rs. 9,190 ($140) and Rs. 11,190 ($170), respectively. Now, however, Amazon — the official launch partner for the devices — has permanently slashed their prices, so from now on you’ll be able to pick up the former for Rs. 7,990 ($120) and the latter for Rs. 9,990 ($150).

For those in need of a fresher, the Galaxy On5 Pro sports a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 1.3GHz Exynos 3475 quad-core CPU, a Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing shooter and a 2,600mAh battery. Like its larger sibling, it ships running Marshmallow and isn’t expected to receive the Nougat update.
