Google has been under investigation by Russia since the start of 2015, but just recently they were told to pay a $6.8 million fine due to pre-installed applications. Google decided to appeal the decision, but Russia has just denied that appeal. So now, it’s likely that Google will be forced to pay the fine if they want to continue doing business within the country.
