Xiaomi is said to not be happy with their recent drop from the top 5 smartphone OEMs in the world. To combat this, Xiaomi’s CEO says they will be building over 1,000 brick and mortar stores around the world within the next few years. The company hopes this additional distribution channel will boost the company back into the top 5 spot, as it seeks to complement its online retail channels.
