Pokémon GO is now finally available in Japan, the birthplace of Pokémon. The game can now be downloaded officially from the Play Store and the Apple App Store. Coincidentally, right around the launch in Japan, parts of south India can no longer load the map for the game. The game has yet to officially be released in India, but worked unofficially regardless. This could be a sign of an imminent release as blackouts were followed by an official release.
