Sony Decides to Stop Manufacturing Smartphones in Brazil

Due to the current financial crisis, and the lack of fiscal incentives, Sony has chosen to no longer manufacture smartphones in the country of Brazil. Companies used to get tax exemptions for these products, but this has ended. So Foxconn and Arima will no longer be producing smartphones for Sony in Brazil, and instead, will be assembled in China and Thailand.
