A report from The Information talks about how Abigail Brody is changing Huawei’s software UI, but more is revealed here. The report cites “three people briefed about the project,” and claims Huawei wants to have an alternative mobile OS ready. There doesn’t seem to be any plans to switch right away, but Huawei wants something just in case Google takes more control over Android.
