OnePlus is advertising Optic AMOLED as the 1080p display they’re using for the OnePlus 3 and not everyone knows what that actually means. During the recent AMA over on Reddit, Carl Pei says all Optic AMOLED means is that it’s a current generation Super AMOLED panel from Samsung with a tweaked contrast and color temperature to make things look “more true to life.”
