FCC Launches an Investigation Over Mobile Security Updates

The FCC has just announced they are looking into why mobile security updates take so long to get to customers. They’re worried that critical security updates are too slow and that some older devices don’t even get them anymore. They’re currently talking to major US wireless carriers and 8 Android OEMs who sell smartphones in the US market.
