F-Droid Partners with Guardian Project and CopperheadOS to Build an Open and Verifiably Secure Android-based OS

Three open source projects have announced a partnership to create an open and verifably secure OS based on Android. The team consists of F-Droid (a distribution platform for FOSS Android apps), CopperheadOS (a custom ROM based off of AOSP) and the Guardian Project (responsible for apps like Orbot (Tor for Android) and ChatSecure).
