Vivo has been teasing their XPlay 5 for a little while and now we have official confirmation that the device will be rocking the Snapdragon 820 SoC with 6GB of RAM. It was announced last year that Samsung was able to produce 6GB of memory on DRAM chips for smartphones. So we’re likely seeing Vivo sourcing their RAM chips from Samsung for the XPlay 5.
