Oppo was at MWC 2016 this week and the company showed off their latest fast charging technology, Super VOOC. They say this can work over both microUSB as well as USB Type-C and unlike their competition, Super VOOC is low-voltage(5V) fast charging. Oppo says they can do this because they’re directly transferring the power to the battery without any voltage conversion(giving it 97% charging efficiency).
