The EPA has just given Samsung the Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) Champion Award for the Galaxy S6 & the SMM Electronics Challenge Tier Award – Gold Level for their leadership in e-waste collection. The S6 99.9% recyclable, the packaging is 100% recyclable, they used soy-bean ink & the charger is partially out of recycled plastic too. On top of that, Samsung is being honored for properly disposing and recycling e-waste.
