Maru was announced last week as a mobile and desktop PC solution wrapped into one. The idea is that you flash a custom ROM onto your smartphone and then you connect that smartphone to monitors to bring your mobile OS to the desktop. The developer behind the project has just announced that he’s making the project open source so everyone can contribute.
