Samsung says they’re bringing their 14nm SoC technology to mid-range devices with the new Exynos 7870. The chip features eight 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 cores, an LTE Cat.6 2CA Modem with FDD-TDD joint carrier aggregation, 1080p 60fps video playback and 1920×1200p display support. The Exynos 7870 is currently on schedule for mass production sometime before the end of March(Q1 2016).
