Vulkan has been in the news recently with its release of version 1.0 and NVIDIA is already on board. The company has released developer preview builds for the Shield Tablet and Shield TV that come with the Vulkan API. Not only that, but they’ve confirmed that it will also be included in upcoming Marshmallow updates for these two devices as well.
