Imagination Technologies is known for their PowerVR GPU and that is what Google is using in the Nexus Player with its Intel Atom Z3560 SoC. The company is on-board with the Vulkan API and has just released a system image for the Nexus Player that passes the Khronos Conformance Testing Process for Vulkan.
