Google recently held an NBA All-Star 2016 campaign that let you go to Google search on the desktop or mobile device and vote for who you thought should be picked. It seems Google really liked this idea because the company was just granted a patent around a VUI (voting user interface) that would let people vote for someone/something directly from a search result page.
