Japanese game developer Square-Enix has just announced that their last Final Fantasy game for the PlayStation 1 will finally be re-released on multiple platforms, including Android smartphones. The company states that devices running Android 4.1 and above will be compatible, but it can make no guarantee that every device running 4.1 and above will be able to play Final Fantasy IX.
