Google has announced support for data-only devices on their Project Fi MVNO cellular service. Current subscribers can now order a free data-only SIM card and then you can use it on any device that is compatible with the service. As far as tablets are concerned, Google says the Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Galaxy Tab S, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 will work, but others could too.
