Google has published Android’s distribution numbers that were collected during a 7-day period ending on December 7, 2015. This month we have Marshmallow reaching 0.5%, 5.0 and 5.1 Lollipop have amassed 29.5%, KitKat is holding strong at 36.6% and 26.9% of the market are still using 4.1.x/4.2.x/4.3 Jelly Bean. The rest is filled in people still using Froyo, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich.
