When Android Marshmallow was released and OEMs began putting out a list of devices that could expect the update, LG listed both the G4 as well as the G3 as expected. However, OEM releases take longer, given their expectations to push out bug-free firmware, and the community has once again stood up to remedy that. Built by TeamHorizon, XenonHD is a custom Mashmallow-based ROM for the G3 that is still in the experimental stage, with most features not working, rather acting as a proof-of-concept, and setting the stage for more stable builds in future.
