Omar al-Bashir received millions of dollars from Saudi Arabia, a police investigator has told a court in Sudan‘s capital at the start of the former president’s corruption trial months after he was toppled by the military in the wake of mass protests against his autocratic rule. Al-Bashir, who is charged with illicit possession of foreign currency and accepting gifts in an unofficial manner,
