British MPs say Facebook ‘knowingly’ violated data privacy laws | UK News
British lawmakers have accused Facebook of “intentionally and knowingly” violating data privacy laws and called for a code of ethics to regulate social media platforms to limit the spread of fake news. Following an 18-month investigation, a British parliamentary committee on Monday released a report saying Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg failed to show “leadership or personal responsibility”
