In first for post-Franco Spain, far-right elects regional MPs | Spain News
A far-right party in Spain has won seats in a regional parliament for the first time since the country’s return to democracy following the death of longtime dictator Francisco Franco in 1975. The small Vox party, which opposes undocumented immigration and Catalan independence, took 12 seats in Sunday’s polls in the southern Andalusia region, according to official results.
