Bollywood and MeToo: Film industry lifts sexual abuse taboo | India
Mumbai, India – The 2005 Bollywood drama Aashiq Banaya Aapne (You have made me your lover) saw its lead actress, Tanushree Dutta, reach celebrity status. Her fame rested on one song sequence in the film, where she is seen kissing her co-star multiple times. Physical intimacy on screen was unusual for Indian cinema at the time. The former Miss Universe finalist was then cast in several B-grade
