Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe has resisted calls to step down, ending a much-anticipated televised address to the nation without announcing his resignation. Earlier on Sunday, the ruling ZANU-PF party expelled Mugabe as its leader and gave him a Monday noon deadline to step down as president, or face impeachment.
