Egypt’s feared former security chief is reportedly advising Saudi Arabia’s crown prince amid mass arrests of the kingdom’s elite and allegations of physical abuse during their detention. Habib el-Adly – who reportedly fled Egypt after his corruption conviction last April – is in Saudi Arabia, the New York Times quoted an Adly adviser and a former Egyptian interior minister as saying.
