Bollywood film Padmavati faces protests from Karni Sena | India News
New Delhi, India – Bollywood movie “Padmavati” is at the centre of a political storm in India after protests from the dominant Rajput caste group in the western state of Rajasthan. The period drama set in the 14th century has enraged the Rajput group who want the film to be banned for allegedly “disrespecting the sentiments of the community”. The state government led by right-wing Bharatiya
