Analyst: Mugabe’s political support was a ‘facade’ | News
The resignation of Robert Mugabe, who has been given a Monday noon deadline to step down as Zimbabwe’s president or face impeachment, will not automatically result in free and fair elections next year, according to an analyst. The ultimatum from the ruling ZANU-PF party on Sunday came after party officials dismissed Mugabe as their leader, further cornering the 93-year-old president in the wake
