US economic sanctions on Sudan ‘lifted’ | Sudan News
The United States has lifted 20-year-old economic sanctions against Sudan, a US official has told Reuters news agency. US President Donald Trump on Friday removed a US trade embargo and other penalties that had effectively cut Sudan off from much of the global financial system, according to the US official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
