Israeli legislators enter al-Aqsa Mosque compound | Israeli–Palestinian conflict News
Two right-wing members of the Israeli parliament have entered the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lifted a two-year ban prohibiting legislators from visiting the site. Accompanied by heavily-armed police, Yehuda Glick, of Netanyahu’s Likud party, and Shuli Mualem-Rafaeli, of the Jewish Home, took to the site early on Tuesday as part of a one-day trial period.
