UK students on hunger strike in support of Palestinians | UK News
A group of students in the UK have launched a hunger strike in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. Activists at the University of Manchester said the strike, which began on Thursday, would last for at least one week. More than 1,500 Palestinian political prisoners, led by senior Fatah figure Marwan Barghouti, are refusing food to raise awareness of alleged abuses by Israeli
