UberEats Arrives in Second UK City: Manchester

UberEats, the cab app’s answer to Deliveroo, has arrived in Manchester – its second UK city after London, and its third global city called Manchester (it’s already in Manchesters New Hampshire and Connecticut).

The UberEats app is separate to the main Uber one, and lets you order food from participating restaurants in your city, which is then Ubered to you. It’s been available in London since June 2016, and clearly that trial’s gone well – the service was expanded to include breakfast in January, and now it’s invading the north.

At launch, available Manchester eateries include Northern Soul Grilled Cheese, Milkjam, Salford General Store and The Booze Brothers, and the service will be available from 11am to 11pm – but only in certain areas. Check if yours is included here.

UberEats is free on Android and iOS. The food, sadly, is not. [Engadget]
