Google’s Phone application fails to install on non-Google devices when it is side-loaded. If you have a custom recovery, you can flash a Gapps package to get this application. However, if your bootloader is locked, then you might want to try out this patched version of the Google Phone v8 app by XDA Junior Member iMarbot. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that the spam caller ID will work, but you can still enjoy all of the other features (and beautiful UI) of Google’s dialer app!
