Kubernetes container management solution is generally available on Azure Container Service

Kubernetes

For customers using the Microsoft’s Azure Container Service, Kubernetes management solution is now generally available and ready to use. The feature was announced back in November last year and has been in the preview form until today.

For those who are not aware, Kubernetes is an open source system for managing containerized applications across multiple hosts, providing basic mechanisms for deployment, maintenance, and scaling of applications. Kubernetes is hosted by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).

Microsoft Azure is the only public cloud platform that provides a container service with the choice of the three most popular open source orchestrators available today and Kubernetes is among them.
