Kali NetHunter is an open source distribution built for network penetration testing. It is installed as a kind of ROM overlay on many devices, and recently XDA Senior Member Brandon Indar was able to successfully port NetHunter to several devices with MediaTek SoCs. Check the thread out to see if your device is supported!
