Here"s a Friendly Reminder That Nothing in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Was Real

We knew the beasts and the magic were fake, but did you know that pretty much everything you saw on screen wasn’t there? At this point, an effects reel could reveal that Eddie Redmayne was actually five rabbits in a coat with some tremendous special effects work and I’d believe it.


Actually, I did realise that the New York City in this movie wasn’t real, since it was showing places I was literally walking around with streets wider than they’ve ever had. But I thought it was at least a set or a stand-in with New York set dressing. But according to the visual effects video from Rodeo FX, it was all green screen.



Did you know the bank wasn’t real, either? I’m seriously questioning reality right now.
