In Colors Show Bigg Boss 10 witnessed yet another elimination and it was Rahul Dev, who bid adieu to the glass walled house this week. And his ouster from Salman Khan’s show has definitely surprised the viewers. Not that Rahul was one of the toughest contenders for the game, but then again, Rahul enjoys way more popularity than Nitibha Kaul, who was also nominated along with him this week. Even the voting trends on social media suggested that Rahul got more votes than Nitibha, which makes it quite clear that it’s not the masses, but the bosses at Colors and Endemol Shine India (producers of Bigg Boss), who are calling the shots on eliminations this year.
So why did the makers decide to have Rahul eliminated this week? “The show has not seen great TRPs and the love stories which were blooming too were nipped in the bud. The only love angle that is going on is the Manveer-Nitibha affair which everyone’s talking about and the makers desire to cash in on that. therefore Nitibha is being saved from multiple elimination,” a source was quoted by DNA.
They say, “jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai,” & the makers of Bigg Boss 10 truly believe this. Yes, Rahul was boring, but then it was quite disheartening to see him leave the house. While Lopamudra Raut broke down after he made his way out through the exit door, Salman too was shocked with Rahul’s eviction from the show.
With makers deciding the evictions, it surely raises doubts on the authenticity of Bigg Boss this year. Do you think the makers are right in calling the shots?
