Twitter India head Rishi Jaitly quits

Twitter India head Rishi Jaitly has announced his plans to leave the company after a four year stint. Jaitly had joined Twitter in November 2012 as marker Director India. He announced his plans to move on from Twitter in series of tweets.


For the last one year, he has been the Vice President, Media, Asia Pacific & Middle East North Africa.  Prior to joining Twitter, Jaitly worked as a Policy Analyst at Google India.


“My mission remains the same: harness tech/media’s scale to connect users/citizens to their voice/agency/leadership in places they care about”, Jaitly said in one of the tweets.


Jaitly did not share his next plans but said he will be in Chicago for a “personal/ civic calling”.
