Those who got their Pixel order delayed are now receiving $50 in Google Play Store credit

A few weeks ago, Google sent out an apology to some of those who ordered the company’s Pixel or Pixel XL smartphone, saying that the shipment of their unit will be delayed. And to compensate that, the software giant promised a $50 Google Play credit after orders are delivered.

Inline with that promise, Google has started sending out the discount codes. Here’s the email that one of the Pixel users has received:

As mentioned in the email, to redeem your credit, click the “Get Started” button at the bottom of the email, then enter your promo code (if prompted), and then click “Redeem.” To use the credit, just select the “Google Play balance” payment option during checkout.
