Google DayDream View VR headset goes on sale in five countries from November 10

Google announced Daydream View VR headset last month and started taking pre-orders couple of weeks back. Now the company has announced that the VR headset will be available in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia from November 10th through Google Store and third-part retailers.

DayDream VR is compatible with Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. It comes with the Daydream controller which slides right inside the headset when not in use. It supports apps like YouTube, Street View, Play Movies and Google Photos.


Google has already partnered with Samsung, HTC, LG, Xiaomi, Huawei, ZTE, Asus, and Alcatel for readying smartphones with Daydream. In addition, the company will team up with over 50 partners for apps and games later this year.


The DayDream View VR headset comes in slate, snow and crimson colors and is priced $79 (Rs. 5,280 approx.) CA$99 / £69 / €69 / AU$119.
