With September’s monthly security update rolling out to Nexus devices, Google has detailed what the update includes. This update comes in three stages with security patch levels being labeled as 2016-09-01, 2016-09-05 and 2016-09-06. Combining them all together, we see that they include patches for 7 Critical vulnerabilities within Android. 23 of these patches are for High severity vulnerabilities and 17 of them are for Moderate severity vulnerabilities.
