If you purchased your Galaxy Note 7 from AT&T (on or before September 15th), then you can go to a retail location and swap it out for a brand new one. These new units are said to be safe, and have the new batteries installed instead of the faulty ones. They recommend you turn the device off now, and keep it off until it’s replaced.
