Google has just published Android’s distribution numbers for the 7-day period ending on August 1, 2016. We see that Android Marshmallow is now on 15.2% of the active install base, Lollipop is up to 35.5% and KitKat is at 29.2%. This leaves Jelly Bean with 16.7% of the user base, Ice Cream Sandwich with 1.6%, Gingerbread is at 1.7% and Froyo is still holding strong at 0.1%.
