Last month we saw the Play Store arrive in Chrome OS Developer Channel for the Acer Chromebook R11, Asus Chromebook Flip and Google Chromebook Pixel (2015). These are still the only Chromebooks that can get the Play Store at this time, but this feature has been included in the Beta Channel and it comes with some bug fixes to make it more stable.
