Pokémon GO to Launch in Japan Tomorrow with First Sponsored Locations

Pokémon GO is all set to make its official public entry into Japan, with the launch scheduled for tomorrow as per TechCrunch. There’s another twist with this launch: Niantic has partnered with McDonalds that brings up 3,000+ of McDonalds fast food joints as in-game Pokémon Gyms that players will battle out for. “Sponsored Locations” are expected to drive huge traffic to places of business as players continue to throng the streets to catch virtual creatures.
